Burgers & Fries

I am craving warmer weather and burgers and fries on my deck right about now.


The winter days are so dreary and yuck!


I made burgers inside the other night and it reminded me of the warmer weather so I thought I would share my go to burger and fry meal.




For the burgers....


Ingredients:

2lbs grass fed beef

1 egg

Salt, a few dashes

Pepper, a few dashes

Garlic powder, a few dashes

Mustard powder, a few dashes

Onion powder, a few dashes

3-4 tbsp Worcester sauce


Instructions:

  1. Combine all in a large bowl

  2. Make into patties

  3. Refrigerate for 30 minutes

  4. Grill to your liking

  5. Top with cheese, a bun, pickles or anything else you want.


For the carrot fries:


Ingredients:

1-2lbs carrots, sliced lengthwise into fry form

2 tbsp. olive oil

Salt, a few dashes

Pepper, a few dashes

Garlic powder, a few dashes

Thyme, a dash or two


Instructions:

  1. Toss the cut carrots in the olive oil and then top with seasonings

  2. Bake at 400 for 20-25 minutes until tender and crisp.

  3. You can also grill these by placing them on a piece of foil on the grill and cook until tender.
